Make a favicon from an image, text or emoji
Design it, see it at real browser-tab size, and download a complete favicon set. Nothing is uploaded; it all happens in your browser.
Emoji look depends on your device's emoji font. The ZIP contains the image as rendered here.

HTML to paste in <head>
How it works
- Pick a source: type letters, choose an emoji, or upload a logo.
- Adjust shape, colors and size while watching the 16 px preview.
- Download the ZIP and upload its files to your website's root folder.
- Paste the HTML snippet into the
<head>of every page.
What you get
A multi-size favicon.ico (16, 32, 48 px), PNG icons for browsers, Android and Chrome (192 and 512 px), an Apple Touch Icon (180 px), a scalable favicon.svg, and a site.webmanifest. This covers current browsers, iOS home screens and Android installs.
Favicon tips
Keep it simple: one letter or one bold shape reads best at 16 px. Use strong contrast between icon and background. Test on light and dark browser themes, and keep the files in your site root so browsers find /favicon.ico automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Everything is processed locally in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
Which favicon files do I get?
favicon.ico, PNG icons (16, 32, 48, 180, 192, 512 px), favicon.svg, site.webmanifest and a ready-to-paste HTML snippet.
What image works best?
A square PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG of at least 512 px with a simple, bold shape.
Is it free for commercial use?
Yes, the tool is free. You are responsible for having the rights to any image you upload. See the Terms.
Why is my favicon not updating?
Browsers cache favicons aggressively. Hard-refresh the page, clear the cache, or open the site in a private window.
